Praise Jesus! Knowing God should be a daily desire of every Christian, knowing God is the utmost of our walking with God. But I discover over the year of my walk with God that one of the problems of many Christian is that they do not know God. Knowing God is different from knowing about God, at least messages, tapes, materials and Books has been written about God but that is not knowing God.
When you know about a thing you don’t have the full knowledge of such thing, nothing is truly yours until you understand it even yourself, and if you don’t have the knowledge of a thing you can’t understand it. You can’t understand the usage of a thing without having a prior knowledge of it.
Knowing God is not coming to church or belong to any group in the church.
Knowing God can only be achieved through personal relationship, intimacy and communion with God. Not knowing God is really eating us deep in our churches today, when you ask somebody to pay his/her tithe and complain, you just know that that person did not know God.
The secret to life in the father can only be discovered by constant fellowship and intimacy with the father.
Knowing God starts with;
Your secret time, your personal devotion.
The amount of the Word you dwell in and carry.
And your fellowship with Him.
It is my prayer that May heaven cause you to know His more and more daily. We don’t assume we’ve known God or attained or perfected. Knowing God is a daily process of personal devotion, studying the Word and your constant fellowship with God.
Knowing God will destroy
The fear of tomorrow.
The fear of the devil.
The fear of uncertainty.
One problem that must young people have is the fear of tomorrow, what the future holds for them. The knowledge of God will destroy that fear. Our God have the understanding of tomorrow, in fact is a God of yesterday, today and forever, so when we know and dwell in Him we can speak about our future.
Many of us tends to afraid the devil by his works due to what we have learned and heard about him, in fact some people have the understanding of the devil than God. The devil has been defeated, he lost the battle. Heaven has given us authority over him, but if we do not know God how do we stand against the works of the devil. Knowing God will teach you believers authority over the devil.
Knowing God will help you to know God operates.
He made known His ways unto Moses, His acts unto the children of Israel. Psalms 103:7. the three Jew children Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego knew the Lord and it was said of them in Daniel 3:16-18.
May heaven cause you to live in the reality of Knowing God daily.
